![]() Geezer can’t remember where it was first used. The first place I can remember seeing it was on a single from the Never Say Die album. Anyway, was that symbol involved in the original release, or was that something you chose to put there? I ask, because I’m trying to track down the first usage of that symbol. The physical discs for that release have the flying demon image that has been seen for bloody ages, that Geezer tells me is called “Henry”. Me: I know it wasn’t issued in the recent Universal series of remasters, but it was at the tail end of the 1996 Castle series in 1998. Here’s our email exchange (posted with permission): His reply is interesting, and seems to pinpoint the earliest true usage. As time went on with the site work, I got a hold of Hugh Gilmour, who has done a lot of artwork for Black Sabbath over the years, and he was credited with art design on that remaster series. However, I never remembered it being on the old vinyl and cassette tapes I had back in the day. I was a bit perplexed by this, as the original release of this compilation was late in 1975, which if accurate would be the earliest usage. So, as I continued the work for the Jan 2012 re-launch of this site, I was doing some scanning of back cover art, and discovered this on the 1998 remaster of “We Sold our Soul for Rock & Roll”. Was also on the 2007 compilation, “ The Dio Years“. Both in the “Matthew 25:41” circle image shown at the top of this page, and as well as the “Wal-Mart exclusive” cover art, which can be seen here. ![]() The most visible, I suppose would be Bill Ward’s drums on the 1999 Tour.ĭespite all of it’s uses over time, it’s only ever appeared on a few album covers. Henry is actually animated there, which was a new wrinkle. If you haven’t seen that carnage, check it out here. The most recent I think would be the really horrendous music video for the track “Bible Black in 2009. It’s been used a boatload of times over the years on numerous things, including several bits of artwork connected to the band. I saw it used in a tour promo logo as well as on the cover of a single from that album. WHEN was the first time we saw Henry? The earliest I could remember was on the Never Say Die album. It’s a logo that’s been in use for a long time, and that was a point of contention with me. :) Henry is of course the “flying devil” or “flying angel” or whatever you want to refer to it. He’s something akin to Iron Maiden’s “Eddie”, although Henry has never come out on stage live. Thing is, most people didn’t know he’s called Henry. If you’re a Black Sabbath fan, especially a long time one, you’ve seen Henry a bunch of times. Diamond Rush is one of the best games in mind games and labyrinth games. Quartzite has a diversity of uses in construction, manufacturing, architecture, and decorative arts. It stands up better to abrasion in stair treads, floor tiles, and countertops. The use of quartzite is growing slowly as more people learn about it. Quartzite, with a Mohs hardness of seven along with greater toughness, is superior to both in many uses. In architecture, marble and granite have been the favorite materials for thousands of years. This is a characteristic that separates true quartzite from sandstone. It is so tough that it breaks through the quartz grains rather than breaking along the boundaries between them. The interlocking crystalline structure of Quartzite makes it a hard, tough, durable rock. It often occurs as silicified sandstone, as in sarsen stones. Now I need to save the file under a unique name, delete the older version, and rename the new version to the original file name. The problem occurs when I want to save a new version by overwriting the existing file. If I want to save the image with a new name, there's no problem. Since very recently whenever I try to overwrite an image (photo) file on an external hard drive, i get an error stating I cannot save the file because there is no access permission granted. Permission to write but NOT overwrite files on external drive Hi, Any help would be greatly appreciated.in layman's terms! Thank you! Marilyn What could the problem be? I followed instructions from one user online to go into Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility and to select Permissions, but that was not an option when I opened up Disk Utility. This time, when I tried to Save the photo (still did not have the option to "Save As"), it repeated the message that I did not have permission. ![]() I went to the first photo, clicked on Get Info, unlocked the permission, added my name (not sure why those permissions didn't copy over during the migration), and clicked the lock again, then closed Get Info. Then, all of a sudden, it opened about 20 photos at once! But when I tried to save any of them (there was no "Save As" option), it told me I couldn't peform that because I didn't have permission. Anyway, I couldn't even open the photos in Preview initially. There was a symbol beside them that had the iCloud and down arrow, indicating they were being downloaded from iCloud, but that should not have been necessary since Apple migrated all my FTM data from my old MacBook Pro to my new. But when I went to open the photos on my new MacBook Pro, they wouldn't open. I have a program called "Family Tree Maker 2019." Within this program I have stored various documents and photographs in the FTM 2019 Media folder. Get Info>Permission I just had all my files migrated from my older MacBook Pro to a new one I just bought with more memory. At this point I'm having a proper nervous breakdown because nothing Google spits out seems to help and these "locked" files have long been backed up again by Time machine, leaving me with no option to restore my photo collection from anywhere. In any case, this problem affects my whole 50k+ photo library now, whatever picture I edit in Photoshop or other apps I can't save, the message being the files are locked (they are not marked as locked in Get Info) and it stays locked even when copied over to my system drive. However when I choose "apply to enclosed items" the changes aren't applied at all, the pictures all show different permissions: (although I don't know why it is "custom access") The permissions for the pictures folder look okay. ![]() Now I have the problem that I can't save changes to my files. Somewhere in the process the file permissions got badly messed up, it could've been by using Time machine "wrong" (I simply hand-copied the files from the backup drive since I didn't want to fully restore a system). A while ago I moved my system to a SSD and use my old 3TB HDD as storage for pictures/music/movies. ![]() See ARDUINO PIN CURRENT LIMITATIONS: Be nice to your Arduino!
